Should i ditch my friend and find new people to hang with? :/?

okay welll i have this friend her name is lilly we met in gr 7 ( im in gr 8 now) we were like soo close we were also good friends with the populares too and ever scince then we were bfflz but i moved in gr 8 and now shes different she acts like one of the populares shes like on of their cliques and we promised each other we will talk everyday and tell me whats new with them but now she ingnores me talks to them and she even forgot my bday and today was one of the populare's girl bday and she rote a huge @ss msg but she forgot mines.. so on monday was her bday and i ddidnt say sh!t to her and i stoped talking to her idk... should i ditch her were not going anywhere our friend ship sucks right now :/
