I was recently tested at a sleep clinic for suspected sleep apnea or narcolepsy. The technician who watched my scan during during the seven hours I slept there told me that I did not show sleep apnea. He did say, though, that I had no REM cycles during my seven hours of sleep. What would be indicated in a person who has no REM during their sleep? Could this be indicative of narcolepsy or would it be indicative of something else?
