Are the Alpha books by Lisi Harrison part of the Clique Series?

The Alpha books by Lisi Harrison are not part of the Clique Series, although Skye Hamilton from the Clique series is a main character in the Alpha series. The Pretty Committee from the Clique series is not mentioned at all.
