How do i know if this guy likes me?

there is this boy,chase, and we aren't like in the same clique or anything but his brother told me that chase keeps talking about me at home but he didn't say if it was good or bad i have liked him for 2 years and i want him to know i ike him but im way to shy what should i do please help
