Did my boyfriend cheat on me?

Last year when we lived in our old home I had some reasons to feel that he went and meet some friends that were girls and lied to me to meet them. Was he cheating on me with them? Instead of inviting me he invited them instead. He also was texting them behind my back if he would of been upfront about going or meeting them then i wouldn't question put he lied to me or just said he was going alone and went with them and when I confronted him he denied it or said they just showed up. Please tell me if I was right about him cheating
