A good teen fanstasy/magic or sercet society or historical fiction series to try?

I LOVE the Gemma Doyle Triology. Adore them. if you know any books like that post it! :) I also have read PJ (Percy Jackson if you didn't know), The Mortal Instruments (City of whatever) and The infernal devices, I started Harry potter but I've seen the movies so I got a little bored and kinda dropped it, currently reading the Luxe series, will read eragon after that and beauty queens by libba bray (author of Gemma Doyle), any other suggestions? I really like histoical fiction the best but any good magic type books are good suggestions, I just don't like all those teen dramas where whats her face gets pregnant by the BFF's boyfriend blah blah blah, so the clique alphas sarah dessen and the like I'm not a big fan of. Historical Fiction though, and like all those secret society's are all great, I got all summer to read so any suggestion I'm happy to hear! :)
